Sub: Regarding Extension of Leave
Dear Sir,
I, Richard Smith, have been on leave from last three days from 20th May, 2022 to 22nd May, 2022 due to the medical treatment that I am undertaking for eyes.
The purpose of writing this letter is to request you to please grant me a leave extension of another one day as I have been prescribed by the doctor to not put any kind of stress on my eyes. Therefore, I am not allowed to read anything or work on laptop as a part of treatment.
I request you to kindly grant me a leave extension for 23rd May, 2022 so and I will make sure that I am reporting at work on 24th May, 2022. I hope you will approve my request. I would also like to apologize for the inconvenience caused because of my leave extension. During this time, I will be available over phone call.
